I think that technology is going to far ahead of itself. Choosing your own child's genes could cause problems that scientists are not aware of. The problems could be deeper than anyone thinks. It's not  for sure that everything will turn out like the parents want. There is always the possibility of something going wrong. Which could be worse then genetic diseases.

Willer professor of pyschiarty created a treatment program for injured brain patients to be able to express emotions. He started this treatment because his wife had brain injury. He was deeply depressed because of this. So he became very determined. The treatment included the patient looking at pictures of them making expressions, but it was difficult for some patients to tell the differen between certain expressions.


I thought that it's a good idea for this treatment because then brain injured patients can somewhat be like themselves. It gives people the chance to find themselves again.
